House Rules and Cancellation Policy

These are the house rules for all five cottages at De Keurboom Guesthouse in Kuils River. By booking a stay you agree to them. If anything is unclear, call us on 083 301 4257 or 021 903 6607 before you arrive.

Check-in and check-out

• Check-in from 14:00. Earlier or later by arrangement.
• Check-out before 10:00.
• No check-ins on Christmas Day.

Cancellation policy

• 28 days or more before arrival: full deposit refunded.
• 15 to 28 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit refunded.
• 14 days or less before arrival: full payment due.

House rules

1. Please keep noise to a minimum. No loud music, and no music or conversations outside after 23:00.
2. Your full account is settled at check-in.
3. Guest numbers may not exceed the booking without our approval.
4. Check-in is from 14:00. Earlier or later arrival is possible by arrangement.
5. Check-out is before 10:00.
6. Please return your keys to reception, or drop them in the post box.
7. No smoking inside the cottages.
8. No refunds for early departure, or for breakages or events beyond the owner’s control.
9. De Keurboom is not pet friendly.
10. A R800 cleaning and breakage deposit is charged per cottage. It is refunded if the cottage is left in a satisfactory state.
11. The breakage deposit is forfeited if a guest is evicted.
12. The pool is open from 11:00 to 17:00. It is closed on Sundays and on Christmas Day.
13. No check-ins on Christmas Day.

Good to know

• The kitchen is closed from 16 December to 9 January every year, so no dinners or breakfasts are served then.
• A dishwashing service is available at check-out for R100.
• Dinner is served by arrangement. Please contact us for pricing and availability.
